Megasquirt?

Post by thetwodubheads »

Has anyone here done any tuning on megasquirt?

One of these days when I get the hardware finished up on the Corrado I am going megasquirt. I was just wondering if anyone around has played with it and could give me a crash course in operating the systems?

I have had some experience with mega squirt and I would stay away. very easy to set up but only 8 bit so not great for tuning.

READ all the pages on MS that you can! upload all the program files that are for your exact model you built. I have'nt touched MS in a while but am installing it on my Audi powered vanagon so shortly i will need to get reacquainted with the system.
"Darkside" must be talking about MS1....because MS 2 is 16 bit processor.... upgrades to get a larger VE tables can help the MS 1 in fine tuning....

MS2 features Altitude compensation, wideband compatible, egt compatible, automatic mixture correction, transmission controller (automatic), sequential injection that is not bad for the price of this equipment. hell yes there is better options but not not for under 500.00
