Camper Tent Pictures:

Post by BigSkyVR6Caddy »

Almost forgot all about this. My Dad set-up the old VW camper tent in the backyard for his grand kid's while we were in RI on vacaction.
We used it last year too... But, before that it was hermetically sealed in plastic bags in the garage for 25 years.
My dad has always been a little fanatical about taking good care of his stuff... But everything he owns last forever.
This thing is original and in perfect shape... good reson for me to buy a camper and put it to use.
We used it alot when I was a kid... lots of summer trips and use at beach campsites.
We even did a two month cross country one year... never forget it.
Anyway as you can see this tent entered into some kind of time warp... new condition, no tears, mold or fading??? every zipper works new?
I thought you guys might enjoy these pictures.
We sure enjoyed camping out in the backyard with it.

This is the back where that rubber piece clips into the channel above the sliding door and zips out to add another room.
Then we would zip it closed, leave it at the campsite and take off for day trips.

Hope you guys enjoyed your campers this summer.
Maybe my next project should be a camper? Jim
