How are the battery connectors? If they have any corrosion on them you may need to clean it off. Have you checked out your ground cable to see how the connection is?

Here is just a thought....
This past week I went to start up my Jeep and it wasn't having it.
Redtop Optima was reading 14.2 Volts so that was fine.
It just made a click sound like a solenoid. I pulled the starter(solenoid attatched) checked everything over, cleaned all connections and reinstalled. Turned key, same exact thing.
Frustrated now, I pulled starter again.....took to parts store to have them test(knowing in my mind that it was bad).....only to have it test fine!!! ARRGGGHHH :banghead:
Took back home, installed again....turned key.....SAME THING. Click but no start.
I was like WTF???? Tested battery again, 14.2 Volts. Next I checked the ignition wire to the solenoid on starter and it tested fine when key turned. Now I checked the power cable where it connects to the starter.......WHAT??? Only 8 VOLTS???
Checked battery again....14.2 Volts....checked power cable at starter....ONLY 8 VOLTS???? Hmmmm ok, this cable comes directly from the battery and should show 14.2 Volts. The starter cable clamp at the battery had a slight and I mean very slight bit of corrosion right where the cable goes into the clamp.
So I bought a new battery terminal clamp and went to cut the power cable so I could strip and make a new battery clamp. Well when I cut the cable, it was apparent the problem.
The copper wiring inside the power cable was pure black to the core instead of the bright copper color. I cut the cable back a few inches until I reached good colored wiring. Put on the new battery clamp, hooked her up and turned key.....started right up!!! :D
So the moral of the story is that even though there were very little signs of corrosion outside the cable, the inside of the cable was very bad and causing low voltage at the other end of the cable.
I spent 3 hours pulling that starer in and out of my Jeep that day. It only took me about 15 minutes to fix the cable.
Maybe it's just your cable!
