no room in back especially with that big of charger. this one recircs in the bottom. whew! i would at least double stack headgaskets or this will just pop. youll also need one hella strong tensioner or itll slip like mad. i dont know how well stock digi 1 will handle that, remember stock digi 1 only has a 1 bar map sensor so 14.5 ish lbs before the fuel stops. i would toss in them 440cc's too.

god i  me a kompressor swap :)

UPDATE!

i got about 90% of my charger brackets built today, i gotta add some support to the rear bracket to get the charger to be rock solid with the motor.

list of what is still needed:

3/16" plate steel for adapter for boost tubes off the charger
some exhaust tube to weld to the 3/16" plate for boost tubes
serpentine style water pump pully
FMIC / more boost tubes

once im done with all the mockup on the parts jetta, ill simply swap it all to the GLi, and then I CAN HAZ BOOSTS!

i dont plan on running alot of boosts till i know the motor is gonna take it.. on the gtp this charger came out of it was pushing 14.5lbs, but im not sure his crank pully is the same size as the one i will be using. eather way in very very very very very very excited about this build

awesome!

But shouldn't the belt be ran around the pulley more to reduce slip? like in a U shape around it...

it will slip in the rain regardless. it does take some effort to run those chargers, how will you regulate the boost? BOV? i know the tony has an intercooler FS should be perfect!

man ihope you have better luck than i did @ kompressors! be careful tho, a turbo builds boost supers are instant. mine was @ 2 BAR @ 1800 RPM. (29.ish psi)

i cant wait to hear blower whine commin up the driveway

im gonna let my stock g60 throttle body regulate boost/blow off. i know they suck but really i dont really expect this to last very long  and it will help me keep my foot outta the throttle.

brandon does matt have a spare vr6 water pump pully? Trevor maybe?
