It is possible to be too low (at least for something I want to daily drive), I drag bumper at about half the stoplights and my driveway. It is a whole new world being this low.

I don't know for sure, but I am guessing that would be a no.

Another thought: Those coil-overs are probably 10+ years old, the dampers may be shot.

Is there anyone who rebuild these H&Rs? I had the Koni's on my camaro rebuilt years ago, but I am not sure if anyone would do these.

If they are Koni's, Koni will rebuild them.

Hey Randy,
If your front big bumper is too low for you would you at all be intersted in a MKII small bumper?
I have a small bumper that came with the extra parts for my GTI but the big bumper I had was trashed and am looking for a decent big bumper for mine.
I'd hate to see your GTI without the big bumper but if your just autocrossing it and using as a daily and it's scraping too much maybe you'd be interested in swapping?
Also did you get those pix I sent you of the tears?

Bentley came in today, so now I get to dive into the injection on this thing. Hopefully it will be running right soon.
Also installed new window regulator and started cleaning up the interior.
