Alright, well I haven't been on here in a while and I apologize for that. Life takes many turns but I had finally had my car working again, until this morning.
The car started up great this morning and was running normally but about halfway home my car started running really funny. And now...well you can't touch the gas without the CEL flashing. It idles very rough, this was the first thing I noticed. You can stand in the back and hear it, almost sounds like its missing a cylinder. At first I figured it had gone into limp mode but I realize that isnt the case at all. It sounds/feels very choppy while accelerating and almost like my turbo isn't even working. It's not blowing out any smoke, I think, with all this cold weather its hard to tell though. The turbo seems to be working but at idle its not the same. Its sitting at about 15hg opposed to 20-21 which is what its normally at. I can't imagine my turbo is blown at 77K miles. I guess not that it would matter. Due to lack of funds (p.s- I'm broke) I figure I would try to diagnose this problem myself, probably would help if I had a VAG-com huh?
I recently strapped on the ECS Race N75 and a Forge 007 and I was thinking about switching out the N75 to see if that changes anything but I don't believe that to be the problem.
Anyways, if anyone could give me some input to this problem I would much appreciate it. You guys have been great in the past.

I also have replaced my spark plugs probably 8 months ago with NGK iridiums and new (offbrand) coil packs. The coil packs were more like 4 months ago, but they came with a lifetime warranty. I did pull one up to check them out but I didn't take out the plugs, should this be my first move?

Re: Engine issues...
Suction jet pump valve could be the problem. It's right near the coolant reservoir on top of the motor and it looks like a really big check valve (may want to Google it). It likes to split in half - luckily if that's the issue you can use some super glue to hold it together until you order another.

I think you might be right. I was reading in other places and people have said that the valve is connected to the brake booster. It will sit at 20hg when it warms up but if I pump the brakes about 4 times it goes to 15, don't know if maybe thats a dead giveaway. I also read that they clog because my doesn't look like its broken but it is covered by some stock rubber piece to hold it in place. I guess I should pull the mani and check it out :/
