decided to do an epic build and finish in time to Dyno tune and drift it @ Driftoberfest in Colorado Springs.
Tj fabbed a new front end, and one killer gusseted roll cage, built a whole motor, including all built internals etc, and all new pretty damn much everything. Danny and I ended up with about 5-6 days to prep and paint the whole car, the most elaborate of paint jobs ive ever done. Some of the panels werent even off the ups truck when we got started. Heres the product, and note tho not easily seen this is not my best work due to time constraints!
So the engine bay went the red color.

Finished product of the bay,

Next up the cage needed to go red as well, this was the bane of my existence, took over 3 hours to shoot just the base coat on this intricate cage, and about another hour to clear it, not to mention a rediculous masking process

Another shot of the cage.

Next the entire interior need to go oil slick black, which meant another rediculous masking session

Next up we got to our third color, a very metallic silver for the body, heres some of the body kit.

Finally the body was sprayed, the bottom silver and the top oil slick black to match the black around the windows

Another angle, note all the small parts hanging in backround

Then a special touch i pitched to him and he wanted me to go ahead and do for him, a crisp 20 from the post office, layed under 4 coats of clear coat

Came out really well for the quickness and he and dani are very pleased, the car goes drifting in 48 hours the got the car back last night! minus 12 hours to break it in and get it to colorado, pushing it!
