Re: Darkside - MK3 VR Jetta
So I did a few things to the jetta today. I resealed the oil cooler...it was leaking. I replaced all the plastic parts in the cooling system and the thermostat...no more coolant smell
I also installed a 42 draft designs intake tube and a MK4 1.8t intake air temp sensor. Threads on the vortex show gains of 2 hp at the wheels with that little trick.

Nice I have been thinking of the 1.8 sensor with my vr. Does it run seem to run any better?

Very nice. You can get like 15 hp by just adding a very large rear spoiler. Just ask the honda guys.

Hard to say if it is better but it does run good. And yes wade I have been looking at a sweet triple level spoiler for extreme horse power
