I don't know if dues are necessary but it would be nice to do something once a month or so. BBQ, cruise, shop day or whatever

Guys, nothing is stopping anyone from gathering, and it's fun when we do it, but we all just get busy in our own lives and other things become priority.

Matt, if you want to do those things then plan and organize it. If you want to pay dues and all that, I'd suggest buying a Porsche.

Im trying to plan i understand people get busy but i dpnt see why we
Cant get togetber and do something once a month. And as far as the club thing with dues and such and montlhy meetings i underztand no one wants that. It sucks but i understand. It was so much fun. I miss even when we locally got together. Mike remember the bbq and fun times we had at your house on 3rd and 3rd in laurel. It was so much fun and i really hoped we could have kept that going. A car club is so amazing and the relationships and bonds from that are huge. Im just trying to get something together more often.
I hoped more would be on bored. We should do stuff like Missoulia and bozeman crews do.
Anyways that'smy $. 02
Hopefully wecan do something as a group.
Oh and Mike a Porsche is on my to get list. from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2

I'm a bit confused...I *think* we get together fairly often. A couple of weeks ago we had a GTG and shop day, and you were there. Wade and Lars went riding a coupe of weekends ago too. There was also Zip Tie, and one or two other GTG's we didn't see you at. I think there are things going on that you are missing out on.

So, if it's about the frequency of events...maybe you need to watch this thread more often. And if you want to have more GTG's/BBQ/cruise/Shop day then plan and organize it, and whoever can make it will be there to participate.

Regarding your comments above...it's not fair to rely on others to plan events you want to have happen. You'll just set yourself up for disappointment, because it/they won't happen or won't be what you expected. And instead of trying and hoping for things to happen, focus on what you can control and take action. Plan an event and follow through with it.

Have you suggested a GTG date, time and location recently? Why don't you throw out info for the next one.

You guys are way more active than the zoo crew. I have been to more billings meets this year than Missoula. This I not a complaint just a fact that I thought was kind of funny and needed to state.

Yeah I just had a different opinion of what a club did, I guess it won't happen here. No worries it's all good, I'll be active in those too. Mike, I appreciate the shop day and thank you for your guys help with the Wagon. too bad we didn't have a shop big enough for a bunch of cars and a place to work on a bunch of projects at once. I'm hunting for one for winter for the beetle. I need to find a spot and someone to help me work/ finish the beetle this winter so its done for the ten year anniversary. I'll figure out an event to do before the snow flies I'd love to have a bbq but my place is too small so I'll figure out a spot for a cruise. I'm thinking October and the fall colors.

Thanks Wes, I thought the same thing.

Matt, you've been a member since 2006 - you know what we do, and what events and GTG's we have done in the last 8 years.

Your welcome, glad to help where I/we can.

The next post in this thread should be about a GTG.
