and yes it was a diesel originally. the last pic has injection timing specs.

those aren't injection pump timing specs.. they are for the valve lash, and timing in general for the engine.

EDIT: maybe it is... but diesels are usually timed with mm/lift or whatever the hell it is. It should say it in mm if it was a diesel.. but it doesn't.
