Nice Tito. Great thread. Love that pic at the beginning on the bridge. Such a hot GLI. I can't wait until you are hauling around in that thing. Say it with me... FIVE POINT HARNESS... Did you say it???? I knew it.

Thanks J! 5 point might entice me to do bad things. I don't want this car to make me evil like the Rocco did, which by the way just got a 2.0 injection

Gonna try to put in a good long day today providing the boss lets me. Getting so damn close I can taste it

There are so many little things to do on a VR swap, its kinda overwhelming. I guess I did not realize what I was getting into. Shooting for a test drive Sunday.

evil like the rocco did? you had horns since it sat in there the first time you =

at least a 4 point harness no need for that fifth one interupting the flow down by the balls.

let me see an update later today, core support and radiator at least!

Took a couple of very successful test runs today. What a hoot!!! Looks like putting the front back on will be tricky using the Passat radiator.

Glad you held onto the dice. The blue Jetta looks great on those little turbines too! I don't think you need a harness to make you

in a VW. Nice try though...

Actually roadhog, I ended up using a cutting wheel. But close

J, not only are the dice cool but they balance my mirror so it does not flop down.

. And thanks vrtpassat! I put 115 miles on it today without any real issues. I still don't have wiring for the radiator, interior is a mess, and the lower valance is not on yet. But I gotta say its one of the funnest cars I've driven. Hauls ass!
Thanks to everyone that has lent a hand!

Gotta chance to see and hear this bad boy run the other night! Really nice, super clean swap!
Glad to hear your CEL is still off, and I'll be calling you about the inverter. Thanks!
