well after many hours of tuning, and getting the T1 to sound killer in the inverted box, the box decided it wanted to start levitating in my hatch so i built a better tuned SPL box.
oh and 144.7 aint nuthin compaired to what i hit how. but the new number cant be released for competition sake
and Aaron, what is the zoola crew up to this year for sound comps? i havnt heard anything about any zoola comps.

Well I have a completed Sound Q car that will be running this year, and a buddy of mine is building one in Townsend, but that is about it for now. I used to run a car audio promotional company and we did a bunch of shows around the state and surrounding states, but that was years ago. I am going to try to hit some shows this year, but I haven't seen any posted up yet. You know of any?

Well there was a SPL comp in bozo at good vibes last weekend in may, but that got canceled. So no comp for may unless us helena folks manage to figure one out. Barretta hosts one end of June sometime i think. Then in July sometime Good vibes in bozeman will be hosting one, witch the Rockford Fosgate rep will be at (5 helena guys are all fosgate

)
I've also decided that im keepin the 7 for a while and gonna do a full up proper SPL build. i've already ripped out most of the interior and started working on getting it to seal up. i still gotta figure out how im gonna stuff this 15 in her and still be able to get spl to the windshield

I was wondering, what is required to be in a stereo contest. I'm assuming it is pounding base without the distortion. Am I right, I would like to go to one of these just to experience it. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to stereo stuff.

He is competing in SPL (Sound Pressure Level). It's all about the BASS, not mids or highs. Basically trying to get the subs to move as much air as possible.
