Computer was a pain in the ass, but i have windows and ubuntu on it JR.
CD/DVD rom drive was not working properly so it was incorrectly reading the CD regardless of what cd i would put in there. Installed a different DVD/CD drive, put the magic touch, and she's OFF!

im not sure what is wrong with the original cd/dvd drive. maybe firmware.
