yes im rather excited to have another rocco.. let alone a mk2 16v rocco. I've been hiding mainly with my girlyfriend helping her with her current child (tomorrow the 24th she turns 1) and just being there for her with her pregnancy..

Nice work Kev, having kids is tough but worth every minute.
Anytime you guys make it down to pick up that head is fine, it's just sitting in my garage. In fact, I'll make sure it's up on the shelf ready to go. If you need it right away, I may be able to swing a trip up to Bozeman in the next couple of weeks, so keep me posted.

i never ran a compression test but i can just tell by sound that not all cylinders are building compression.... anyways I decided that i wasnt in the best position to be rebuilding yet another rocco, and we all know that im really a mk1 kinda guy.. anyways i traded it to a buddy for a running/driving 79 chevy luv.. im still gonna get to work on it and get it back on the road but it wont be under my ownership..
when it really comes down to it thou early vw's arnt necessarily the safes cars to drive.. And i've been needing a little pickup for some time now (since i got rid of my 1st Pup' 6 years ago) let alone i already have the coupe to drive (ubaru =reliable).
this could have been an incident of the well known "Kevin has car ADD"
