Nice bug. What happened for someone to put a sticker in the car that says "Do not open windows at an access of 120 mph" I buried the needle in mine(when I had it) a few times but i didn't think it could go much faster than that. Ive always just adjusted the valves from under the car, not to hard, would be nice to have a lift though.

i forget what the tolerence is, check for it online, its very easy to do, and totally necesarry, mine gets it every oil change.

Its a badge my dad put on it in the 60s as a joke.

Thanks for the info Brandon, I'll drive it as is until I can afford to fix it. When we parked it in 96 I remember the motor was weak, but I was not very nice to it. I even t-boned a Silverado with it and the bug survived. I rodded the hell out of that car.
