well i went to the car wash. psi washed the motor. looks better. I've also been doing some research and have found that the 2.3T in 1984 was "the best motor volvo ever built". apparently my 84 2.3T has forged pistons, forged rods, forged crank, and 13mm wrist pins (after 85 it was 9mm).

anyways with some simple tuning this could be one fast car. its got alot of potential :D

Pretty cool find Kev - it cleaned up nice too. You need to keep it just to see how many road miles you can put on it, and for putting some heat on the tuners with the sleeper status. :thumbsup: Is there any software out there to tune and open it up a little?

today i installed an actual 8lb wastegate actuator, so it should stick 8lbs comfortably without worrying about the MBC deciding to turn the boost up on me.. anyways i have the turbo and exhaust mani off right now for exhaust gaskets.
