i had to take my golf but the same drive in a S would be awesome...and fast!!

So i bought an ASP chipped ecu from a guy on audiworld. And put in my car and im getting 14-15 psi peak and its holding 10 pounds. He told me he was getting 18 peak and holding 15. So i did a boost test and didnt find any leaks. but i did know i had a leaking valve cover gasket so i fixed that and put new plugs in, but still got the same results. With the stock ecu in it would hit and hold 9 pounds every time. Any ideas? Could have got dicked on the ecu?

if you arent getting any boost leaks i would think it would be the ecu....how does the car feel when your driving?

it feels a little faster but also feels like it lags a little bit more. I wish i knew somebody in kalispell that a chipped ecu to try and see if that ecu acted any different. Overall it drives fine it doesn't cut or stutter or anything weird like that

sounds like somethings wrong either with the ecu or the tune. the only "chip" that asp has on their website is for their stg 3 fueling kit, from what i saw. so it could have been a custom tune

head to missouola to arron at warrior auto... he might be able to tune it give him a call its not TOO far lol.

only thing is then he would have the revo tune. which, personally, i love. it just needs some fine tuning. if your not worried about the cash and would like it to run real strong i would go with that. or call the call you got it from and start asking questions.
