It probably needs some new oil actually, and I enjoy getting the larger passat oil filter(I got this from dana motors for like.. 7 dollars?), to allow the car to have more oil on hand, and i almost always used amsoil 5-40, ask darkside VR where to get that, or mobil one 0-40 european formula(also usually got this from the dealer)


I had masterlube actually do the fill last time, cause it was too cold outside for me to do it, i just brought them the filter and the oil.
So whatever number they have on that sticker, thats correct as far as when 3,000 miles is up.
Amsoil though you don't have to change it that often but its.. a good idea.. it kind of boils down to what your preferences are.
