You should jump on thesamba and get in the bay window forums. I'm usually a proponent of aircooled in a bus, but there's some exceptions that if it's done right IMO. Here's a great thread on a swap:

went to a few vw classes with a guy who did one. i think he lives in washington somewhere. drives that SOB ALLLL OVERRRR and takes his family camping almost every weekend, and to top it off it was a pretty clean swap.
