Very happy with mofoco for head work. Turned mine around in under a week. @ramrod.. yeah germanlook's not for everyone.

Is it a red car painted black? hows the rust?

I'm assembling the engine this weekend and also pulling the tranny to clean it up. It was originally red but has a sub par flame respray ( I will eventually strip and paint it)I will have to weld in some new floor pans but I just want to get it running first.

Nice Wade, good progress. That's a cool generator stand BTW.
I may be wrong here, but are those pushrod tubes reversed, or does it matter on those?

Well I flipped the push rod tubes. I also pulled the tranny. I think it's got a few seal leaks.

First thing is to drench it in degreaser, scrape it and degrease it again. Then the car wash I go. That stuff is thick.
