This weekends project: Timing belt job. Been a few years since I've done this and had to learn how a new front end came apart. Only took me 10 hrs, but it went well and I had no trouble falling asleep afterward. Also, changed the oil and gave it a real audi filter and some Mobile 1. It had a Wix filter on it, so you can imagine the oil was standard crap. Swapped a set of NGK Iridium plugs in and a pair of Silverstar H1's for my low beams. Now I have nice white light, instead of a dim yellow glow at night. After all the work, it runs great and should be ready to go for the rest of the winter.
I had to come grab it quickly on a weekday evening. I'll happily buy you a beer when I'm back in town for our January tournament. Thanks again for the help
wow flash backs for me lol when i did my 2.8 lol. im suprised you did do the thermosate while you were in there lol. an i bet the next time you have to take that frount end off it will take 10 mins lol

Nice. The all weather mats were one of my first scores when I got my A6, love em! Also I thought it's funny that you still have the All American plates on. They must have gave you a good deal. lol
