Hey that was a lot of fun -
Just wanted to say thanks again to Aeron for letting us invade his shop and
thanks to Kevin for the Pizza Hut hookup! It was great to meet you guys and hang out. Now I need to post my pics of the Fahrenheit GTI I got to test drive...thanks Shawn!

It was a good time. My car is much cleaner inside, and was clean outside for few hours before it rained. And apparently I'm one of "those guys". I just figured everyone brought a full set of detail supplies in their trunk to every car event they go to? I guess I've been around too many classic car guys. Thanks to everyone who pointed out my obcessive compulsive nature.
It was a good "spirited" drive up the pass too. That was a fun road, and I finally go to go on a VW drive where I got above 3rd gear! The way down was even better with a couple of cars to pass and Justin to real in on the way down. Too bad Shaun had to work, I wanted to play, even if I knew the outcome would be watching his tail lights.
Thanks to Aeron for hosting! And Kevin for being our favorite Pizza Slut.

Actually I do. I just happened to be at my shop, so no need. If I am at an away game, then I pack it fo sho.
Did you catch Justin? I figure you did, but sometimes that kid is amazing behind the wheel.....and you might have been able to keep up with Shawn...you never know.....

Justin wasn't driving that hard, he was cruising around 80. I started to gain a bit in the corners I guess, and when it straightened out I caught a glimpse of him so I picked it up a bit. Then in the straight I figured I'd let her stretch her legs a bit. I behaved once there was traffic and driveways again. I'm high 4's for 0-60, but I think the Carrera has me there. From 60-120 roll we'd probably be close. But from 120+ I know he'd pull ahead. They can hit high speed faster than I can. Boxer and Caymanns are easy as long as they don't have an "S". Then it's a drivers race. I really don't care if I get beat or not, I just like toying around a bit. I'm too old for the boyracer scene.
