Finished a couple more things on the 20vt today.
As with any 24 year old turbo'd car, the vac lines were crusty and split, so new black silicone ones were put on. The old lines were just crumbling in my hands...these are even the better looking ones!
And the current state of the beast within:

I removed the defunct cruise control system (who needs that crap?!) but still haven't cleaned anything.
Onto the first interior mod. Since the PO never got around to gluing a mirror wedge on the windshield after getting it installed, I took that opportunity to upgrade/update to a modern auto-dim style. It's a Gentex, which is the mirror of choice for most of the car manufacturers out there. Simple two wire hookup (for this model at least) and you're done.
That's it for now but more parts are on their way!

Nice. I didn't know auto-dim rear view were so easy. Sweet.
Love me some cruise control though; makes watching movies easier on road trips

Yeah super easy. Here's the one I put in the Audi:
I put another Gentex mirror in my Vanagon (which also was missing the mirror upon purchase) that has the compass and temp. That was just as simple but a 4 wire hookup instead. Power, ground, and two wires for the temp sender.
