Okay, I got the old fuel filter and mounting bracket out of the engine bay and got the new one mounted in. I just used that old filter you had in there for mock up purposes, I will get a new one for you when I make my next parts run. Everything fit great, and looks good. I had planned to spend most of my time at the shop on satufay on it, but walk-in customers had other plans for me. I just thought I would post up the update for you Jake.

Thanks Aaeron.

I'm glad all that stuff fit.

Smoky burnouts in your parking lot are that much closer. :o

Final thing, I would be up for considering a "painless wiring" solution if you think the exhisting harness is to hacked to work with.
I just read this, and I was thinking it would be easier that way also, but I have not really gotten into the meat of the whole wiring problem yet, but it maked me feel better to know that you feel that way. I will try to save the factory styff first, but if the fusebox is messed up enough, sometimes it is just easier (and lighter)to pull it and start over. We'll get 'er figured out!

Sounds good.

I like the idea of starting fresh with new wiring. Rocc it and I had talked about converting the car to a PW harness and fuse box. My concern was incorporating all the CIS-E connections. It would be simipler on a car running stand along I think, and I'm not ready to go there...

Got the Bunny pushed into my bay before I left the shop tonight, so as I can get started on her first thing. I will do some serious looking into the fusebox wiring and see if it would just be easier to put a PW harness in it. bI'll keep you updated.....

Well I am totally worthless. I did not even get to open the hood on your car today. I always leave Fridays a little light on scheduling and pick something that I can work on at my own pace. Like your Rabbit. Then friday rolls around and everything is an emergency and I am on damage control ALL day. I walked by it about 2343 times. And said I was sorry every time, but I got nothing done today. Now I apologise to you, sorry about that. I will get her done!

Sounds familiar. The best laid plans still end up backfiring.

Have a good weekend.

Ahh the weekend wasn't any better. I didn't even see anything duck hunting on saturday, and I played golf like a quadrapalegic on sunday. Ugh, I'm going back to work......

Hahahahaha, I know just how you felt. Actually, surprised you were golfing out there. Heard there was snow already.

We spent the weekend driving 7 hours each way to get a puppy for my inlaws. To much driving, but she is pretty sweet.
