Wow...that's an expensive DV! Was it titanium?

I paid $85 for mine and it had three springs for the pistons to "tune."
I should have mentioned that the 710n is the stock DV on the Audi TT which runs a K04. So you should be safe there as well.

Titanium? Nope. I think it was lubricated with liquid magic.
It was what was recommended to me at that time. I knew it was expensive, but I didn't have much of a reliable community to depend on for a DV that was going to last so I took the word of the shop that did my Revo stage 1 install, TKO Motorwerks in Auburn, WA.

This time around I'll probably wait for the DV to fail since I've yet to hear of a chipped 2.0T blowing a stock DV more often than a non-chipped one. The 1.8T was a different deal though. With those you had to worry about going into limp mode from too much boost unless you replaced the N75 valve with the "J" series one or got lucky like I did and already had it. So many little things could be tweaked on a 1.8T. I kinda miss that car.

I'm probably gonna go with the 710N DV.... just cuz its like $50 vs $180... Kinda want a test pipe and a new intake... Mmm one can only wish.
