I think a blacked out GTI badge would be great. I kind of like the VW emblem as the only thing shiney on it, but blacked out would look good too.
I say ditch the front plate. I keep mine in my car, but there is no where to put in on the front, and if you think I'm drilling holes in my bumper you're on crack. No one has ever given me a hard time about it, and I'm not running drugs so if I get pulled over it's not the end of the world. It's not a moving violation so it doesn't affect your insurance. I say take the risk.

Hell yeah! Call me a tweak, but I think I'm still trying to find something wrong with what we've done. I think I may need the HID matched fog bulbs since the film makes them look very different. I wonder if they are much brighter in the day time...Rennwagen1 wrote:I am a big proponent(and technician) of the Black Ops. I dig it. I think it looks aweome. Yay us!!

I think you're design is great. I'm having a hard time offering any suggestions because I like everything you've done. I think you're nailing it.digitalscott wrote:Call me a tweak, but I think I'm still trying to find something wrong with what we've done.

Ohh Scott, lookee lookee! No chrome window trim on the Jetta! *hint hint*
Oh also. This is my experience with front plates.
No plate = pulled over and harasses by bored cops
Euro plate only = pulled over and harassed by bored cops
Euro plate plus slightly relocated MT plate = haven't had a problem yet.
I was also told by a couple of ultra cool (for real)highway patrollmen "the state issues you two plates, so you must have two plates on the car at all times." They had no comment on why the state is now too cheap to issue you 2 registration tabs.

Never got a ticket for that per se, but they have used it as probable cause to pull me over for other stupid crap that I always get out of.
