I was thinking buying one with blown engine. Any of you guys know of a cheap Jetta with bad motor and tranny that I could take from mine to it. Thanks for the advise.

I realise that beauty is only skin deep, and I am not trying to be a d!ck about it, but dump that car. Unfourtunately your "friend " has destroyed that thing, and she is too far gone, IMO. I vote part it out, or sell it as is, and focus on that badass GLI sitting next to it!  for Tornado red, I have one, and I love it.

Thank you for your honesty, and I like that you like my GLI, I am sad that that idiout wrecked my car so i'll dump it I have realized that I have two cars that need work and why add a third into the mix. I appreciate your advise so thanks. what options should I do with my GLI. It has the 16v 2.0 so I'm good with motor for awhile, I'd love to put 1.8T in it or a VR but I just can't afford it, I need to find a new big bumper set for front and rear and the trim, but what else should I do to it. I'm going to hold off on it for awhile so I can work on my bug, then I'll paint it first, I have to get rid of the rust that livinh here has caused.

I do not know if any of you go on the Vortex ever, I rarely do, but I had been following this post off and on and happened to look tonight to check up on the progress, it's kind of long, well check it out for yourselves http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2680323 It is called the Captain is in the house. And they are doing the Cool Jet project. Scroll through the whole post this guy is amazing. I'd love to have him modify a car for me someday, I can't imagine what that would cost though. I'd give anything for a bit of his talent.

Anyways before they had started was when that guy hacked up my Jetta, I however had that idea of those round taillights and some of that other mods they had done. My point is do any of you think that could be done to my Jetta, I'd love to see something cool done to that car.

Just a thought for tonight.

Let me know your opinions
Thanks
