Its best with ABS cars to use the reccomended brake fluid.

The enemy of brake fluid is moisture. We have a meter at my shop that has green, yellow, red light to indicate the percentage of moisture.

Yellow = 2%
Red = 3%

Flush is needed at next brake job at 2%.
flush is needed now at 3%

I will ask where the meter came from. It uses 2 electrodes tho measure the conductivity of the fluid.

Not sure completely, but you may want to research the super blue fluid a little. I have heard from some techs that they insist that the blue dye leads to premature seal wear in the clutch cylinders.
