YA, the plate was a real hassle! One trip to the Highway Patrol office in Butte, one trip to the Anaconda's courthouse, one long trip to DMV in Deer Lodge and then one more trip back to Anaconda's courthouse. It was the first time that anyone tried to register a Bicentennial plate in the state. The software authors didn't include that particular plate in their thought process. They did a work around by calling it a 'collector' vehicle. But as you may recall - the company who designed "Merlin" took the money and ran, leaving the state without any support.

After putting on the new teardrops and tires, I took it back in for alignment again. The offset did throw it out a bit. It ended up giving it a little negative camber. But all is well and it handles great again.

yep, victor/stevensville

FIND OF THE CENTURY

no argument on my part - no brainer - had to buy

everything original and unmolested - even the original windshield - virtually no rust

typical problems with a 98k mile rig - nothing that can't be taken care of

drove it home

thanks to Trevor for the heads up!
