Been working through ECU issues, and I now have 3 computers with various problems. Flashing and dumping has been giving me grief. Found one on ebay thats working consistantly now with no hardware issues. First Manual ECU I bought needs to be pressed on real hard before the car starts. This could have been something I did to it during the Immo defeat. Original ECU will not start without a message from the TCU so I've been trying to flash it with a manual ECU bin to no avail.

Browsing the the dumps I think I just found one issue:

28 63 29 20 32 30 30 33 20 52 65 76 6F 74 65 63
68 6E 69 6B 20 50 61 74 65 6E 74 20 50 65 6E 64
69 6E 67 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

Translates to:
"(c) 2003 Revotec"
"hnik Patent Pend"
"ing"

:banghead:
Need to figure out how to get a VSS signal on the Can-Bus reel bad.

Did get the front end reassembled and some of the wiring sorted though
