My buddy got a Miller Dynasty not too long ago. The most badass (and expensive) welder I have ever seen. That thing should have it's own chauffer to carry it around!! I haven't had a chanse to play with it, but I have seen his work and it is unreal

SDS EM4-F standalone is here, and it looks painfully simple to install, very personable company would recommend to everyone!.
hardest thing to do will be placing the magnets in the crank pulley and that shouldnt be that bad, and already pre loaded with a starting map!

pass side fender here today as well! now i have a complete car again, in pieces, but i have all of em now

Everything is looking so cool, I can't wait to see it when it is done, good luck and you have inspired me I'd like to someday build my GLI from the ground up, but from your pics i'm going to have to have help or pay someone. It looks sick. Have you picked a color yet, and what grill bumper set up are you going with?

the color will be black magic pearl-effect, as seen on the new GTI's keeping the o.e.+ look with the og grill but with smoked crosshairs.
bumpers will be of the small euro bumpers, either black or carbon, i hear carbons are cheaper than chromies

if anyone needs to order new fenders, i would recomend german auto parts, fitment is pretty damn good they is italian made. only bad thing, is on the top of the fender next to the hood, the design is a little edgier a hair different than an origional vw replacement but the should play nice together
