I would call you gay in response but I do love what you've done with your avitar!
Just for that I might change it to a fat guy with man boobs doing the same motion.

haha!funny..

anyways i just got back from my storage unit, picked up my spare trans..

old (cooked) trans specs:

9A (8v close ratio)
FD: 3.67
1st: 3.45
2nd: 2.12
3rd: 1.44
4th: 1.13
5th: .89

new (good) trans specs:

AGB (16v close ratio)
FD: 3.67
1st: 3.45
2nd: 2.12
3rd: 1.44
4th: 1.13
5th: .91

so over all i dont gain much at all. i will actually raise my 3800rpm in 5th @75mph to around 4000rpm @75mph

Yeah, Mike gave me a lesson in how to do it. :o I guess the 9KB limit only applies to avatars uploaded to the site. If you use one from a remote location, you can go much larger!

NOW BACK ON TOPIC! ;)

I still think it is easier to pull the whole motor........................

no way then you gotta mess with exhaust, fuel lines, vacuum lines, wiring harnesses, power steering.

all i did was put the motor on a jack, pull the front end, cv's, shift linkage, front and tranny mounts, and whalla.. tranny out. the hard part is putting the new one back in. sucked to get the bellhousing over the flywheel :banghead:

new trans is working like a charm
