My first dub, coincidentally a Jetta GLI (although it was an 86 8v) redlined the temp guage and the red light started flashing on the way home from the dealership I bought it at...yeah, they sold MK2's at dealerships when I was a lad...haha
Same deal, just a sensor...
Ownage...

Just installed the MK3 shift rod, good for at least 3 or 4 hp gain
Now I'm gonna go try it out.

As far as I can tell, it does seem to have more butter. It might just be in my head, but that's just fine too
