Love it! But you should make the model a fill in the blank, so it could be "Mk2 16v" or "Corrado VR6"

The hazard light clicking is caused by metal particles in the blinker stalk assembly.
It's common.
I had to repair this on my MK4 Golf.
Had to pull the steering wheel, then blinker stalk assembly, then clean it out really well, re grease and reassemble.
Sucks to see the non stop issues this dub is dropping on you. :???:

Went Christmas Tree shopping up in the mountains. The new snow tires did great, we went up higher up the mountain than most people. Did get a deep gouge on one of the doors some how.

the handle latch for the glove box is no longer part of the glove box. As well the center head rest didn't want to come out, but after considerable amounts of force something broke and the head rest cracked me in the eye. Luckily it was with the soft end.

And so the legend continues, It was running really rough again. Found the TIP came off the turbo, fixed that. Checked for additional air leaks, none found. It is idling better but not smooth. And now the car insists that the drivers door is open randomly while driving, but with the stereo at the right volume it drowns out the constant chime. Any one ever run into this problem?

Cracked solder joints in the door module? You can use my vagcom to diagnose maybe?

The door latches fail all the time on b5's only a new latch will fix it, maybe a thorough cleaning will do the trick.

The passat has been idling rough and i really haven't had time to look at it. Since I bought the car, I replaced a lot of the plastic and rubber crap on the motor associated with the emissions and vacuum system, but not the PCV. So i got one and put it on. The old one has a tear in the diaphragm, It would close but leak. Idling slightly smoother and has more power. You can hear that turbo spooling more now.
