You know it.

Ah yes, I know what you are talking about - what you can't see...from my bad picture angle...is that I ground the top of the bolt down so I have about ~2mm of clearance between the bottom of the pump bracket and the top of the bolt. It should be enough to give enough clearance for any vibration, but it's on my list of things to watch after driving it a bit. Good call.

Not much progress lately, I've been too busy and I am waiting to have an air box mount fabricated. But here's some shitty over-exposed-by-my-phone-camera pics:

Here's a mock up of the templates I made to complete the air box mount bracket - more pics up later:

Haha right on. I'm actually looking for some retractable 3 point belts from a 1990'ish Jetta or GTI, because they are supposed to be a direct bolt in on a bus - have anything sitting around you guys want to get rid of?

Yes, they would work - here's an example from a guy who pulled some from an '87 Jetta, and as long as you can verify they are the same, I'll buy them from ya. If I can get all the hardware, buckles, and covers that would be awesome too. I can make the 90 angle parts.

I will check on the belts next time I make it out there. I'll keep you posted. Remind me if you don't hear from me for like 3.454 weeks.
