Yup. I finally got to the point that I don't even remove them anymore, I just pop out the rub strip and mask off the bumper ends and throw some cardboard between the bumper and car and go to town with the Krylon!!

Over the weekend I finished pulling the tranny and installed the new clutch and flywheel, then put it back together. I also pulled the control arms and I'll probably take them to a machine shop to get the bushings popped out and the new ones pressed in.

Now, the ball joints...anyone have a trick for getting them out? They aren't budging even with a tie rod tool. Soaking in tri flow lube to help loosen them up right now - any tips?

Put some heat to it.. And use a big hammer.

Werd - thanks Spence I let them soak in tri flow and then torched them and I was able to drop them out. Control arms with R32 bushings, new ball joints, and a new carbon cabin filter go in tonight! If I have enough time I will flush the brake lines and clutch with super blue DOT4 and try out the new stage 1 clutch.
