Daily drivers act as support for non dailies. So, yeah Spence and you other Rado owners better stay out front. I will bring my tools and someone please bring a Bentley!

A4 owners can ride up front so they still feel special. :unibrow:

I'm hoping I can still make it, although I talked to my parents tonight and my dad said how freaking expensive gas is there. It is like $3.15 a gallon for super which is funny because it is cheaper than regular. If it is that high it is going to be rediculous at West Yellowstone and anywhere in the park so maybe we should bering an extra gas can too.

Ok people, we're looking pretty good for Saturday.
We gotta change the route up a bit though as a few roads may not be open. Who thinks maybe we should do this run next weekend instead of this weekend? That would be the 26th.

Spring Opening Dates: Weather permitting, the roads will begin opening again to vehicles on Friday, April 18, from Mammoth to Old Faithful; Madison to the West Entrance and Norris to Canyon. The roads from Canyon to Lake and from Lake to the East Entrance are scheduled to open on Friday, May 2; Lake to the South Entrance and West Thumb to Old Faithful, Tower to Tower Fall on Friday, May 9; and Tower Fall to Canyon over Dunraven Pass on Friday, May 23. See Operating Hours & Seasons for important Spring opening dates.

Check in! Who's going to come with us on Saturday for the initial run through?

hi ,
i was just wondering something after reading the first post on time , schedule and driving time estimate. Do you really think you can do the full loop in around 7 hours in june  , i think you are being very hopeful.. the park will already be full of RV 's and tourists :crybaby: and it will be the week end so you have to add the mormon crowd... you might want to add a little time , unless of course you have decided not to stop much ..
just speaking out of experience having lived there for quite a while. you only need a few bisons on the side of the road to have a serious slow down because of tourist badly parked photographing :retard: .. also make sure you count the delay at major road work because that can get pretty bad in the spring :banghead:
peace
denis
p.s i look forward to the ride  and i am trying to get a few friends from SLC to koin .. we'll see
