The GLI spent a couple weeks in the garage slowly getting a makeover for my wedding this weekend. I rubbed out all the paint (by hand), replaced bent bumper re-bar and brackets, reattached the bumper skin without stock mk2 wood-screws, got some night shades on till smoked markers get ordered, replaced 3 missing jack-flaps and the entire passenger side trim, replaced 3 broken headlights lights, installed the city lights with discrete switch on the dash, blackened bumpers and trim, replaced mismatched and faded door handles, washed the windows and customized the Wolfsburg emblems. I will finish up by reattaching the passenger side mirror after I get some glue later. Might be missing something. Time for beer
