Got this gooey mess stripped down and ready for cleaning.

Took a while, but I finally got this puppy degreased. Now I will work on getting those studs out of the block. After that will be the head gasket and seals. Still have a huge pile of nasty parts to clean including the gear box.

I like all the empty wine bottles in the back of the pic. You'r not useing wine as a degreaser I hope.

Whats wrong with a pile of wine bottles? I used some purple crap, a couple brushes and a spray bottle to get it clean. I think I have spun main bearing. Plans may be changing.
