I'm out for this very reason. I have other things that are financially more important.

Sorry guys. I'll meet you all up here if you can make it out for the Euro Show.

I'm in for sure - in all reality it's not going to cost that much more for gas than it would if it were $3 vs. $4 a gallon, considering I (and most of us) have a 14 gallon tank. We aren't going to be in a hurry, so we can keep our feet out of the gas pedal to conserve a bit. Besides through the park we all should get 45mpg. Everyone except those Rados at least lol.

With that said lets take a reality check on fuel costs:

I'm guestimating 4 tanks of fuel: at $3 a gallon it cost ~$42 and a $4 a gallon it now costs ~$56. That's ~$16 per tank x 4 = $64 extra, which isn't enough cost for me to be out. Plus 4 tanks of fuel is waaayyyy over estimating the amount I will really use considering I get about 400 miles to the tank.

I know everyone has different priorities and pocketbooks, and that's fine. I'm just glad I drive a 4 cyl right now!

I get bragging rights for being part of the very first of many Eurostone cruises to come.

Edit - to add...if you guys share a ride, maybe you and your co-pilot(s) could split the cost of fuel?

Mike makes a good point on splitting costs if you have a co-pilot but I don't think many people will have one.

The trip will be well worth it and it will not cost an arm and a leg haha.

Realistically, Mike is correct - its not going to cost all that much..
Also - its ok if we camp in various campgrounds during the trip correct?
