I concur - we are changing mine in the Jetta this weekend too and I always buy NGK coppers.

Edit - you know Napa is like three blocks from my house right? So anything you don't have yet they have or can get from the regional dist center in Billings.

Gotcha I'll take back the autolites. I thought they were shitty but I was not sure. I'll get NKGs from Napa tomorrow. Now do I get platinums or copper double pin or single. What do you guys think? We still on for Sat then Mike? Do you feel comfortable putting the fuele in? Sorry I should have read before posting. Coppers then. I guys I should not believe everything people say.

Thanks for the help. The last car I ever put plugs in was my Wolfsburg and it was the cap and rotor and everything and I worked at the dealer at that time and I had them do it for me. So I'm new with this and I appreciate the help. I got my parts at the O'Reily Dc and so I'll go to the Napa DC and get new parts. Can you guys think of anything else I need.

Again thanks for the help guys.

I've run coppers, but iridium may work just fine. Stay away from Platinum I know for sure. IIRC OEM plugs are copper.

I run copper, you just have to change them every 15k or less.

Well so far everything seems good. 150 miles and I'm at half a tank. I replaced the plugs to iridiums, a K&N Filter and a new fuel filter. I think we might have fixed the problem. Thanks a lot for the help Mike. I'll keep everyone posted that way if my gas stays down we can try something else.

I got 28.5 on the way to and from Billings this summer, no idea what city is though.....usually about 7, as I cannot stay out fo the throttle in town....she just sounds too good! I run a bit rich, due tot he P-Chip, or I think it would be better.
