I spent like 2 hours trying to get the lapse working again. It only took me 2.5 hours to get to here:

It was the good kind of wreck. Drivers side frame rail was tweaked, front cross member was bent, broken starter, radiator was hosed and two motor mounts were broken. But everything else is in great shape. And I definitely scored on the non-ac setup. This will make for a clean setup.

Hey stranger! You must mean the upgrade from a pointy rock/gravel floor to concrete and not working in sub-zero weather? It makes a little difference  But this thing is gonna be sweet! I'm excited.

I need to do the clutch on the 24v before I dig into the truck. Should have parts for it Monday or Tuesday. Gotta fix it before the grass consumes it completely:

However, Thursday I should have plugs, wires, rotor & cap, lots of gaskets and seals, timing belt with tensioner, water pump, thermostat and housing, belts and some other schiz (70,000 mile maint). I still need to source some 16v Scirocco axles and a MK2 dash & seats.

Clutch done on the MK4 :wasted: On to the truck. TechTonics finally finished manufacturing the DP and shipped it Friday. I will have to wait until the next paycheck to order the rest of the cat back and a set of Rocco axles. Went to Billings and picked up Raddo seats (f'n sweet!) from jd3 on Thursday in the trusty diesel  . jd3 and Darkside are good guys, had a good time  Thanks again for a great deal. Matt may have a pre-trimmed MK2 dash for me. Thinking about doing some custom leather door cards. Studying up on the CE2 conversion. Still need black carpet.

More updates reel soon.......................................

CE2 will be super easy. its just custom wiring at the taillights. youll swap motors on the wiper-rack, everything else really falls into place. stalks and everything!
