Their kits save most the time in doing the swap, leaves u with peace of mind on the strength of things.

Basically. It's takes all hassle out of mounting and the physical part of it. Which is liget for me cause I'm a CE2 master

So you swapped out the ce1 for ce2 so you didn't have to buy their harness?

Practically. It was the old brick fuse style in the 80 so the rear harness is the only original wiring left in the truck.

was guessing it was EW kit, the motor looks nice and centered the kit moves it to the middle as much as possible.

I pondered making my own mounts and using scirocco 16v axles if I ever do a mk1 vr swap. Its probably a lot of work...

its not that hard to weld in mounts, problem is its rabbit steel and you have to reinforce or it will just tear. Doing the EW kit on a VRT rabbit soon.

My oil pan hangs out the bottom and the power steering pump is pretty exposed too but they sell a shorter pan and pump. Most of there products are well built. Be patient with the eurowise guys there work is good but they are always hella busy. I know a vr6 turbo setup in a mk1 will most likely get some extra reinforcement. The side mounts are pretty stout, maybe some cross bracing to factory slide mounts. The front and rear mount are gonna get the most abuse though. Eurowise does good but I'd almost fab up a early mk2 front mount
