I don't think you
need to pay the $10...
but it goes towards the cost of the small plaque's for winners and the rest will be donated to RMC for the use of the campus, which they are very generous in doing. Dude, if you are worried about the $10 I will cover ya! That goes for anybody. I don't think it will be a huge event, so anybody who can make it please do. Really it's just a good time to hang out and have a good time - maybe this could sub for the GTG on Sunday.
You may get funny looks if you don't pay the $10 and then roll up in the lineup

Well I am very sad to say I won't be making this event. I am out of the state for a while so I have to miss it again this year, I am bummed.

I totally forgot about it until today. My car's down right now...don't ask. On top of that, it's not cleaned, nor do I have the time, I've been working close to seven days a week recently and it probably won't let up until the end of October. I'm TIRED.
I'd like to try and sneak away to at least say hi, but not sure I'll even be able to manage that.
Mike, I saw you the other day, but I was rolling with my dad in the truck.

Ah no worries, I was hoping you be able to show, but life gets in the way sometimes. If you ever need a hand or anything let me know, I'm always glad to help...pull codes, troubleshoot anything, detail...whatever. When you get it running we can have a detail fest.

Hmm....looks like my pops might rearrange the remodel schedule for the show (he's a BIG Porsche guy). Hmmm...Saturday might be an EARLY day if I do...need to get the car cleaned and some sort of "mod sheet" done :P In any case, I won't know until closer to the end of the week.
Mike, a detail day is a MUST. I need a clay and couple rounds of polish BAD. Then a good waxing before winter really hits. My engine bay needs to be cleaned out as well. And I do have a few mods coming up this fall/winter. Brakes are going on hopefully in October followed by new wheels/tires in November. The USP front is going to get purchased, painted and installed this winter and then a ton of little stuff, like bulbs and codes, fluids etc. I have the cable and a friend was going to hook me up with the full version software as well as lemmi, but he just lost his job and is spending too much time at the bar
I'm still going back and forth on lowering. However, I might this spring esp. if I put new shocks on the car. But removal of the rear subframe isn't something I'm looking forward too

Did I mention that I have a pressure washer, and a driveway that's about 200 ft long? RO Buffer, Air tools, Vag-Com etc...

I'm gonna be detailing on Friday from 5pm up until I leave for the show on Saturday, so your welcome to come by. If you (or anyone) want to come out, here are the directions:
212 3rd Ave - Laurel. Go to the Police/Fire station, turn right onto 3rd Ave and go about 1 block north on the left. I have a white B3 Passat, and a 1975 F250, and they family truckster...1999 Ford Windstar! Give me a call before you come out so I can coordinate parking - 690-6552.
