well little by little progress is being made and plans are changing, first i was thinking i would have the car ready to drive in summer 08 now its looking like i want it in paint by summer 08 so i gotta lot more sanding smoothing and rust repair ahead of me. the engine bay is pretty spotless, matt has almost perfectly cut out the rain tray, the man is a grinder god i shit you not. got a gallon of rage gold (good filler recomended by stones's boss) and should be starting to smooth the engine bay this weekend depending on how easy the rest of the seam sealer comes out, the dremel and dedication should do the trick.
got a polyurethane complete kit on order so the A-arms steering rack rear struts and rear axle beam will all be prothaned, almost all suspension and steering components are currently being sand blasted out at kevins. so alot is happening just not much notable progress, stay tuned!

Rage Gold is good stuff, almost every custom stereo installer swears by the stuff. I have a prothane kit in both my Mk1s, great kits.

well little by little the filling and sanding filling and sanding is starting to take shape, my finger prints are almost gone into the dust building on the floor

no print no catchy

, anyways, i will swear by the rage gold myself it mixes very nicely and applies great. and it actually gives you ample time to work it around too. but damn i hate body work, pics soon, when the results are up to spec

I believe that is Tolly's rabbit and I have seen that in person. That car is unreal, but if you throw 30k(!) at a rabbit, that is what happens. That is a full resto 1.8T car, and I love it.
FUnny sidebar, Tolly's halloween party last year someone was leaning on the car and lost their balance and dented the fender. Bastids! But I guess that is what you get if you let partiers near one of your babies.
