Rennwagen1 wrote:yeah, that is probably possible. Check for the coding on the vortex in the Mk4 forums and see what you find. You may even find other stuff that you want to do to it also.!

G60, I am not too familar with the corrado plugins, does it have the standard OBDII connector under the dash?
Cool, I'll check into coding mods on the whoretex and see what kinda fun we can have! :laughing:

So I'll have one in Missoula as well very soon if anyone needs access. My friend Stacy also has one in Florence and I'm sure he would help anyone out down there.

So I changed the plugs with Bosch platinums after pulling the following codes:

P1127 - Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Air.,Bank1 System too Rich

P1129 - Long Term Fuel Trim mult.Air.,Bank2 System too Rich

P1139 - Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Air.,Bank2 System too Rich

...:::1998.5 A4 Avant - 2.8L 30V V6 (AHA code) with 127K on it:::...

I changed the plugs, way over due BTW, cleared the codes and they have not come back. Car is much smoother too now :-)

I'll bring it to the GTG tomorrow, sorry I didn't get this sooner, I was in Polson at the cabin all weekend long.
