Just gave AZ Autohaus $300 of my hard earned dollars. Whole lotta suspension and steering stuff on its way. I need to find a way to add another day to the weekend. Maybe then I'll have the energy and time to give the jetta some overdue lovin.

soon. have both rear wheel wells done, everything from the under side has been removed as of yesterday and will start scrubbing and applying undercoat this week. Ordered a micrometer set and will be taking measurements from the motor. Anyone know of a good way to get the sprocket bolt off the end of the crank? Had a 6' breaker bar and my friend standing on the motor to keep it down but that wasn't enough.

I can bring my Dewalt impact over. That usually works, or I also have a tool that braces the pressure plate against the block to lock the crank while you get the bolt off. Have you tried whacking the wrench with a hammer while you have torque on it?
