Ugh.. i would go with some more spendy lowering springs, but being in school with little money doesn't permit. Believe me, the car will get done right when i get out of school in june the work will start =]. Anyways, i looked around for some used better brand ones on here and couldn't find any. Know of anyone with some pretty cheap? and what happened with the rwd vr6 project? any update yet? as for the holes i'm gonna shave all of them next month and i have a 6" duckbill for it already. I think it's either Zender or BBS but not sure, and it is brand new.

im not saying they are bad coils, im very happy with my V-max, its just when it comes to a time when your on a crapy street (95%) of montana, youll want to park it and walk. it rides like a champ on the highway. weld in a reinforcement, or make a bracket that you can hook onto the car, once its lowered, there isnt any place to hook a tow strap without causing damage to the car, ran into this with mine when i cooked an axle, and had to jerry rig something up before i could go get the car.

Oh ok, i can deal with a rough ride. I have before.. haha. But all i would be worried about is safety. I'll probably just get them then. And i will weld up a tow hook front and rear thanks for the warning. My engine is tired, anyone have a 1.8 16v or a 1.8 JH laying around? i honestly dunno how many miles this one has left...

Ok, well.. i can either get a 1993 Passat GLX VR6 running and driving to swap engine, trans, wiring harness, and ecu into the rabbit. Or i can get a 1997 Cabriolet dash, engine, wiring harness, transmission, and ecu to swap in. I dunno what to do.. the 2.0 swap is easier but less power than the vr.

Don't go the easy route, go the power route! ;)

I decided to go with the 2.0 for now.. heh i only have 7 weeks left here at school so it wouldn't be plausible at this time to do the VR6. But sooner or later.. =]

Well my 1997 cabriolet donor car is on its way, about 45 minutes away now. So might as well move this car to the projects section. How do i do that?
