i guess i wasn't clear enough in the posting, i paid the shop 600 to diagnose, buy and install a crankshaft position sensor. this was 2 weeks ago now. it didn't start like 4 days ago i did some asking around and am now waiting for the relay to come in that might be causing it do this. i still like the car, just not happy that i recently paid 1/7 the purchase price of the car for a thing that looks like an ipod data cable.

you paid them $600 to remove one bolt, replace the sensor, and put the bolt back in?

NO! i also paid them to plug it in....

well i got the relay in today, plugged it in and......IT FIRED UP! woot, i am so going cruising tonight. i am so excited to have my little car back.

Which city do you live in Reverand? I also now have a silver Rado. It would be sweet if you were in the Missoula area.

this car sold a little while back. although i now have that 3.6l vr6 with 4 motion you want for your rado, lol but i'm in helena now. miss the car alot, don't let it go. we are looking at replacing it with an original mini sometime after we find ourselves a new house.
here is the old for sale ad. the kid in south dakota who bought it sold it 2 months later for 4k and bought a turbo bug after paying me 6k for it. idiot
