Got my new Falken 512s mounted up, swapped out the idle air aux valve or some junk like that. Whatever that thing is called. Messed with idle throttle position and idle bleed air valve. I think it is okay now. well shall see...

Seafoam Seafoam Seafoam...I went and bought a bottle of seafoam today and put it in my gas tank after I filled up. Went inside to go pay and there was a long line so my car sat for like 5 minutes. Started her up and it made its usual starting noise and then I thought it died, but really it just stfu and idled really quietly. Worth the $6.99 at Checkers. Next is the crankcase, manifold and oil.

Well that sucks, it did help with my idle. Did you notice anything in your oil, I mean if you tried that method?

I didn't put any in my oil, just through the intake and in the tank.

I have use Seafom in the fuel, oil, and also run it through combustion chamber. Seems to help out some. As with anything, you get what you pay for, so it was about 6.99 worth of fix. squirting some into the hose that goes into the intake mani, and smoked like a mofo, but it seemed help it out some. I have not run any through the fuel for a while, so I may use some this weekend on the way to Seattle.

Topped off the fluids in the GTI, washed and dried it, filled the tank, threw some Seafoam in the tank, loaded it up, and got ready for the road trip to Seattle tomorrow. I am really excited, first long road trip in the Bunny. Although I will probably be deaf when I get there.......
I am really curious about long distance MPG in it, I have seen about 34 before, but that was before some mods. I want to see how it was effected....I will post up with my avg MPG for the trip.

Washed and cleaned out the GTI from the last trip to seattle. Oh yeah, I scored a rear Euro rabbit bumper for free while I was there. Score! The wieght difference is amazing, even over the aluminum NA bumpers.....
